If there is anyone who will go the extra mile for my dogs to make sure they are cared for, it’s me! Max our 6-½ year-old Lab was suffering from arthritis in his right shoulder. He was put on Deramaxx in August 2007, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory. There was some improvement over the months that he was on it, but he still had an occasional limp. I’ve also used S.O.D. (Super Oxide Dismutase) an antioxidant in the past with Luke, my other Lab who has since passed away. I saw the benefits that it provided Luke with his arthritis, so I continue to use it.
When I became an Unfranchise Business Owner, I noticed that there was an OPC for pets, so I decided to get some for Max. I started him on Pet OPC on 11/28/07 and after 3 weeks I noticed a big decrease in his limping. At that point, I increased the Pet OPC slightly, and to my amazement within a week he had no more limping. He is off the Deramaxx and only on the OPC Formula and S.O.D. and he’s happy! We are happy too because we saved lots of money on meds. Max is 82 pounds and is taking 2 capfuls in the morning and 1.5 caps at night, a little more than what the label states he should be taking, but it works for him, so I'm sticking to this regime. Furthermore, I was working with a pet store and grooming facility and introducing them to Pet OPC. We did some trial runs and they noticed that they can't keep enough on the shelves -- people are coming in asking for it, so they decided to come into the business!
