This is about my daughters pet cat Panther. He was about a year old when he started having problems urinating and when he did there was blood in the urine. He was spoting in places I didn't want him to and it was becoming an issue.
Took him to the Vet and they said he had a stone in his blatter. Put Panther on a special diet, $20, gave him a shot, $30, and gave me some oral antibiotics, $50, to give to him for a week. It did reduce and almost eliminate the blood from his urine and he seemed more comfortable. BUT, pills ran out, problem came back............back to
the vet. Long and short of it, $250 later they said that if the next round of stuff didn't help him pass the stone or stop the bleeding he would have to have a $1200 operation!!!
It was then I said I have to find another solution. Started giving him 3-4cc's of Stawberry Kiwi aloe twice a day from a plastic syringe oraly. He seemed to like the stuff. About three days later I noticed that he had stopped urinating in the tub and seemed ok. Have been giving him one syringe a day for maintenence and have not noticed any spotting anywhere other than his litter box and I'm hoping the stone has passed. It has been three months so far.
Seems like Aloe works for cats too,
Sincerely,
Paul Kitt
