I can give you a personal testimony regarding my dog. Pepper is half Lab, half Border Collie. She's almost 20 years old! When she was young, her face was completely black. The white on her face is all old age. Pepper has pretty bad arthritis in her hind legs. I was told a 4 years ago that she had a year, tops, to live. I put her on PetHealth and she thinks she's a puppy again! She still stumbles around a little, but she doesn't seem to be in any pain at all. I'm really not sure there's an end in sight! She runs and plays and seems very happy. I've attached a couple photos of my "happy puppy."
