Tom Beitz will be offering group dog training classes through the Community Educational program at three different school districts. The classes consist of a 5 week beginner obedience and manners training program. Each class is a one hour session. THIS PROGRAM IS NOT FOR AGGRESSIVE DOGS. Your dog will need to be up to date on its inoculations. The training equipment required will include a collar on your dogs neck (no harnesses) and a six foot nylon or leather leash (no retractable leashes). The program will cover the basic obedience commands such as heel, sit, sit and stay, coming when called and the down commend. Many of the typical behavior problems as housebreaking, jumping, nipping, pulling of a leash will also be covered in this program. The purpose of this program is to help the pet owner teach their puppy or dog the pack leadership relationship, socialize your dog, learn the basics commands that every pet should understand as well as teach good house manners. No one likes an obnoxious dog. The cost of this program is $125 and each school district will handle the payments a little differently so you will need to contact the school you prefer to attend and register according to that particular school guidelines.
